This song came out of me this morning. The message is a bit confusing, even I have a hard time comprehending it, but it's about a goodbye. Lol not much description because like I said, it's a tad confusing for me to explain it. The song is really deep and emotional. It clings close to me. Probably the deepest lyrics I've ever written. It's a slow piano song. Enjoy
My Goodbye
Verse 1:
Lately I've been thinking of a temporal heart
I need to cure my seldom soul with a good start
But time ticks and tells of every minute of despair
The blood stains have raveled into a negative affair
Pre-Chorus:
I'll just leave my stuff out on the lawn
And head off to a place at the break of dawn
Maybe the moon could bring me there
Maybe it could offer me some care
Chorus:
If I could catch myself
From the depths of burning hell
I would be a happy girl
Living in a beautiful world
But sadly, it isn't like that
Everything has subtracted
Put a stilt in between my life
I'll have a moment of my goodbye
Verse 2:
I have a minute to speak whatever's on my mind
I'll make a mark for those who have lost my time
Shots of morphine have doused my wounded skin
The cuts I made were to speak the truth of a sin
Pre-Chorus:
I'll just leave my things out on the porch
I'll see who'll take what I owned before
Maybe the sun could brighten my life
Maybe it could offer me a good time
Chorus:
If I could catch myself
From the depths of burning hell
I would be a woman so strong
Living in a world of rights and wrongs
But sadly, it was never that way
Everything has come to fly away
Put a needle into my life
I'll share a moment of my goodbye
Bridge:
The bullet to my heart is deep within
Dig deep to take it out so peace could begin
Dress me up in a gown of dirty white
I'll lay without flowers in my goodbye
Remember me for all I have started here
Go and leave a shed of bloody tears
Place me in a hole of darkening lies
I'll lay without pride in my goodbye
Outro:
In my goodbye
