Mobile Version

How do use cellphone on this forum
I know mike can do it but mine can't I can't post nor log in :|

You cant actually post on the mobile version but if you click classic version then you can if you have a smart phone or something.

When I first read the topic title, I was like "Are you fucking kidding me?!" and I was laughing!

I never post with my cellphone as it only got a numeric pad, but you should not need a smarphone to post here.

Give a try to Opera mini. There is a version in java that work on every phone supporting Java!

Try it. The lastest version you can use should be 4.3.

Hey Carlo, you could try a PSP! It's just that it will not show all of the site due to memory and it's a pain in the ass if you want to type something. xD but still, I would give it a try!

Tried in my phone, it fails.

I can't even log in.

I am not a web developer nor I have the time right now for digging further, but I found out that the mobile version use ajax!!!

AJAX this is the problem, no phone in the world except smartphone maybe does support this AJAX sh&*t.

But at least the forum is browsable with opera mini 4.3

It's in java and work on any phone. Download it.

I can log-in and post this with my phone by going on the classic version thought.

I'll do more testing toninght.

That probably doesn't work because of AJAX. The good news is that login doesn't require ajax, so it can be removed without causing severe problem. AJAX is basically to permit to show a dynamic content i.e. a part of the page refresh for showing something else without changing of webpage.

I'll dig more when I'll get time for it, I didn't studied the mobile page yet. I'll start a topic in the feedback section for suggestion.

Fortunately, while opera mini 4.3 doesn't support ajax, it can display the rest of the page without the same limitation of other browsers (i.e. can read post in the mobile section, and can go to the classic version, log-in and post).

Forget about the chat, it's in flash. Here you will really need an android phone, maybe other smartphone can do it too, but not all!

So I have just posted in the feedback section.

Anybody else having those issue?
