1) Britney tweeted that she would like to release a 'Blackout 2.0'

2) Britney was seen in the studio with Darkchild.

3) Producer Elijah Blake confirmed he is working with Britney, saying that it's something that would be totally different than what Britney has released before.

4) Producer Danja confirmed he's working with Britney as well.

5) Britney confirmed via Twitter to fans on December 30th, 2012 that she is currently working on her next album.

6) In one of the tweets she said that she's really focused on her music right now when asked if we'll get the album in 2013 so it's a great chance we'll get it next year.

There is no reports that she's doing X Factor next year.

I'm so fucking excited.

If it's gonna be a 'Blackout 2.0' I wouldn't mind another Britney album where most of the tracks are worthwhile.

User Cool Nebraska Guy, you cannot possibly compare someone's 7th album to someone's 3rd album. That is "not cool" and "unfair".

User godneyx, you cannot possibly compare an album from 15 years ago to an album from 1 and a half years ago.

If you would like to compare albums from 15 years ago with albums from today with ratios which show a fair average of how many albums each have sold compared to how many albums are even purchased annually in this day and age of piracy, I will gladly inform you that Born This Way has had the second best debut week of shares of sales (Red by Taylor Swift has the first best).

Let's also subtract the Amazon sales, which would leave Gaga with about 900,000 debut sales. But you can't possibly subtract ALL of the Amazon sales, because people were going to purchase the album on Amazon regardless of a sale, so let's say that rounds out to over a million debut in this day and age of piracy where albums are purchased less and less, which will continue to lay Gaga in one of the top debut sales of all time, while Born This Way stayed at number one for 2 weeks which is good for a 3rd album from someone who has had only one full album and one EP. Adele is an exception because she slays the entire universe.
