    I was just watching a megamix of the best songs of 2012 and it got me thinking which is the year that has had the most memorable music and biggest hits? I think it's 2008/09... Off the top of my head I can think of heaps of songs;

    Poker Face
    Just Dance
    Single Ladies
    Boom Boom Pow
    Right Round
    I'm Yours
    You Belong With Me
    Heartless
    Gives You Hell
    Dead And Gone
    Halo
    You Found Me
    Use Somebody
    Live Your Life
    Down
My Life Would Suck Without You

I know that 2010/11/12 has had some pretty big hits and memorable stuff but I don't know something about the 2008/09 era I love. It's probably because that's around the time I started caring about music though.

Omg this is like a list of songs I hate lmao.

2011 - 2012 has been the best in awhile. Just no one will admit it cause it's happening right now.

Somebody That I Used To Know
    Rolling In The Deep
    Born This Way
    We Are Young
    Someone Like You
    Set Fire To The Rain
    You and I
    The Edge Of Glory

and to add to that Tony Bennett had a number 1 album and the birth of Lana Del Rey.

People are gonna look back @ that 3 years from now and appreciate how much the shittyness had decreased.
